Born in Annemasse (Haute-Savoie – France), on May 29th, 1943.

One year of assistantship with Professor Heinz GERBER in internal medicine of the horse, 3 years of equine surgery with Pr. ALFRED LEUTHOLD, both at the University in Bern, then 2 years in the veterinary troops of the Swiss Army (Head of the farriers’ schools and instructor at the schools of veterinary officers). Service of militia as veterinary officer, from the cavalry to the headquarters of the officers’ veterinary Schools, as well as mountain regiments and the administration of a veterinary hospital

From 1973 till 1985, lecturer at the University of veterinary medicine in Bern for the teaching of the pathology of the hoof and of farriery.

Since March, 1975 horse owners customers in the Geneva area, first in Collonge Bellerive with a small activity with rural customers, then from June, 1981 on in Puplinge, then in Céligny from April, 1988 on, pure equine activity, and finally in Founex since December, 1997.

In September, 1978 founder and member of the Swiss Association of veterinary medicine, from 1985 till 1989 president of this association. Elected honorary member of this association on the occasion of its 20th birthday, on December 11th, 1998.

From 1981 till 1994, president of the veterinary commission of the Swiss Federation of equestrian sports.

Since 1981, entrusted by the Swiss Federation of equestrian sports with the teaching of equine identification to veterinarians.

Veterinary for competitions for the International Equestrian Federation from 1977 till 1997.

Member of the French Association of Equine Veterinary Medicine since 1973.

Member of the equine commission of the National Society of Veterinary Technical Groups (for France) from 1995 until December 8th, 2000.

Since 1994, in charge of the Post University Teaching (EPU) of dentistry in France, for the account of the SNGT, the Veterinary Technical Groups or for the French Association of Equine Veterinary Medicine.

University lecturer for optional equine dentistry and for the pathology of the hoof at the ENV of Toulouse since 1991, then at the ENV of Nantes since 1995, Alfort since 1996 and in Lyons since February 2001.

1996 - 2003: Technical and Marketing Manager of Biokema High Veterinary Technology S.A. in Crissier/VD,

Cristina Pocecco-Zindel

Born July 3, 1967 in Lugano (Ticino)

After studying in Basel at the Faculty of Pharmacy, she began a banking career that brought her from Lugano to Geneva, where she took over the management of an agency of a major Swiss bank.
From 2000 to 2009 she put to profit her banking knowledge to recruiting executives and specialists, especially in the field of finance.
She has always been passionate about horses and riding.

In 2006, during her exercise as Secretary of the eventing Vulbens competition, she met Dr. Pierre Chuit, which invited her to put a foot in the organization of the Congress of Equine Medicine and Surgery in Geneva.
Since 2011 she is official working as secretary of the Congress.
