Conditions to exhibit a poster presentation, of which the six best ones will be exposed on Tuesday evening.
Theme
Anything that relates to Equine Medicine and Surgery.
Author
The authors are asked to send a 10 line summary on A4 paper in the three languages of the Congress (German – English – French). They should indicate their surname, first name, address, titles and qualifications.
Deadline
The summaries should be submitted to the Secretariat of the Congress before 17th September 2012.
Poster presentations
The selection of the six best poster presentations will be done by a Committee of international experts. They will be presented in the conference room on Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm, in the format “PowerPoint”, DVD, dias or videos. A fully equipped preparation room will be available.
Please communicate the chosen poster format to the Secretariat before the 15th of September 2012!
Awards and refund of the registration fee for the winners.
The expert Committee will give four awards to
- The most clever presentation
- The most scientific presentation
- The most original presentation
- The most beautiful presentation
The awards will be distributed on Thursday 13th, between 5:30 and 6:00 pm in the conference room; in addition to the awards, half of the registration fee will be paid back to the winners!
The Treasurer of Geneva’s Equine Medicine and Surgery Congress will organise a raffle with some magnificent prizes.
The drawing will take place in the conference room during the Closing Ceremony, on Thursday 17th December 2009 between 5:30 and 6:00 pm.
We are not yet able to give you an idea about the range of prizes, but in the past they have always been very valuable.
The raffle is open to all registrants of the Geneva Congress.
